Monel Manifold Valves consist mainly of Nickel (63% min) and Copper (28–34%), with others such as Iron (2.5%), Manganese (2%), Silicon (0.5%), and Carbon (0.3%). This alloy displays excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and acids. Mechanically, Monel provides a tensile strength of around 550 MPa, yield strength around 240 MPa, and elongation ≥35%, thus offering high durability and elasticity. Physically, the density of the alloy is 8.8 g/cm³ and a melting range between 1300–1350°C. All these qualities make Monel highly suitable to produce valves under high-pressure and corrosive conditions.
