Their standard chemical composition consists of Nickel (Ni) 58–63%, Chromium (Cr) 20–23%, Molybdenum (Mo) 8–10%, Niobium + Tantalum (Nb + Ta) 3.15–5.5%, Iron (Fe) up to 5%, and small amounts of Titanium, Aluminum, Manganese, and Carbon ≤0.08%. These valves provide a tensile strength of as much as 1240 MPa, yield strength of ~1030 MPa, and elongation of 12–30%. They possess a density of 8.44 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1290–1350°C, enabling performance in severe, high-pressure conditions.
