Duplex Needle Valves are made from duplex stainless steel, generally containing 22–23% Chromium, 4.5–6.5% Nickel, 2.5–3.5% Molybdenum, and 0.14–0.20% Nitrogen, with the balance Iron and trace elements like Manganese (<2%) and Silicon (<1%). The valves possess high tensile strength of 620–850 MPa and yield strength of about 450 MPa with about 25% elongation. Physically, they possess a density of 7.8 g/cm³, a melting point of approximately 1350°C, and superior corrosion resistance. Their duplex microstructure provides enhanced resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting with guaranteed long-term performance in aggressive environments.
