Duplex Steel Check Valves are typically made of alloys like UNS S32205, having approximately 22% Chromium, 5–6.5% Nickel, 3–3.5% Molybdenum, and 0.14–0.2% Nitrogen. They also contain Silicon (≤1%), Carbon (≤0.03%), and Manganese (≤2%). These valves exhibit high yield strength of about 450 MPa and tensile strength of between 620 and 880 MPa. Their density is 7.8 g/cm³, and the melting point approximates 1350°C. Duplex Steel provides durability as well as temperature stability. Through its two-phase structure, its resistance to stress corrosion cracking, erosion, as well as pitting is elevated, making these valves very trustworthy for high-pressure applications and harsh fluid systems.
