Titanium Ball Valves are usually produced with titanium alloys like Grade 2 and Grade 5. Grade 2 is made up of 99.2% titanium with iron and oxygen traces, and Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is made of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. These alloys offer high tensile strength, with Grade 5 up to 895 MPa. The alloy is light in weight (density of 4.43 g/cm³) and has high corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive environments. The high melting point of 1,668°C of titanium makes it suitable for high-temperature applications.
